Sesshoumaru's swords

There are 4 swords that I know of that are of real great Importance. One of them I think is only shown in Movie 3: Sword of World Conquest (Which was the best movie of all time, I recommend to go see it like....now). The Movie Sword is called Sou-unga (I think that's how it's spelled..) and it's a Black Devil Sword that held a very demonic and dark aura. Something that I don't even think Sesshoumaru could control. Although Sesshoumar udesired this sword when he was younger and his father was still around, there was no way he could have wielded it. The sword literally took over Inuyasha's brain and transformed him and he lost all of his senses. The sword was put into the Bone Eaters Well initially, and then later the "700" seal broke and then was let loose, where Inuyasha grabbed it and then ran into the fuedal era. Sesshouaru, sensing something amiss, was speed walking towards Inuyasha and the evil energy. Rin and Jaken followed. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha battle, untill Inuyasha loses control again, and only rely's on the swrods power and pushed Sesshoumaru back. Sesshoumaru, which nothing left to do.... GRABS TETSEIGA and uses against Inuyasha, which I was still like "wow" about. After that Sesshoumaru drops to one knee while Inuyasha lays across the field. His hand is in pain, and apperntly burnt, while Rin and Jaken are like :o O_o ... Inuyasha gets up, and the sword tells Inuyasha that it needs to see blodd. So Inuyasha runs after Rin and Jaken and they try to run away saying "He's coming!" Sesshoumaru quickly gets up, weather to save Rin and Jaken or just to stop Inuyasha, probably both, and then it goes into slow-motion where Kagome comes into the picture. inuyasha swings the sword at Rin and Jaken prepares to attack, Sesshoumaru is right behin Inuyasha and Kagome is on the site to them, and everyone is running to this same spot untill Kagome yells Sit, and nothing happens, and yells it again, and BOOM! This huge sit to Inuyasha comes and the sword removes itself from Inuyasha's arm while saying something like "This girl...!" and flys away. Sounds wierd, but apparenlt the sword can fly. The rosary breaks, and spills all over the ground and Kagome lays unconcious. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha exchange words like, "She saved your life for now" and then Sesshoumaru goes away after the sword and Inuyasha says he can handle that sword but gets a little discouraged because he relized how much his father was so great. Since Souunga WAS his fathers sword, and it didn't posess his father.

So anyways, to make things short, this Black devil Sword, eventually was used by Takemaru, who was in love with Izayoi, but killed her because of a grudge against Sesshoumaru's father. So it's present day fuedal era and he's using the sword to take revenge agaisnt Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Only together can they defeat Souunga since Tenseiga is the sword of Heaven, and Tetseiga is the swrod of Man, and Sounga is the sword of Hell. Eventually Sesshoumaru see's the light, say to speak, and combines his sword power with Tetseiga after he was remembering what his father said "Do you have someon to protect?" and he thinks about Rin and Jaken running away from people screaming his name to save them.

Since the gate to Hell was open at the time, Sesshoumaru's father comes up (or his ghost, I dunno) and Sesshoumaru is sooooo surprised his eyes are wide like ( .) (. ) . I even made a layout out of that picture if you want to check it out. So, his father starts talking about how he's proud of both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru and how he left the sword in their hands to send it back to hell. Inuyasha is like "wow, is that my dad?" and I'm like OMG screaming because the dude looks just like Sesshoumaru! The voice actor for him sucks though. The Japanese guy had a perfect voice for him and the English guy screwed it up. But on other notes...

As we know, Tetseiga is the main sword of topic in the series. At first glance, it's just a rusty old sword that looks like it can't cut a wet paper bag. lol, I think Inuyasha said something like that. Initially, Sesshoumaru is after it, and probably had been looking for it ever since his father died, so he was looking for it for about 200 years. I mean, wow, Sesshoumaru didn't even have a weapon for 200 years! Well, apparently there wasn't much to fight in those 200 years anyways. So Sesshoumaru finally found his fathers sword in Inuyasha's left eye (I think?) and went into the portal to go retrieve it, only to find out that he couldn't even touch the thing because of some demon ward. But I think it was just a ward for demons who didn't like humans. Because I think after the series evolved, he became to tolerate humans and had no desire to kill them, which is why I think he was able to use Tetseiga by himself without the help of a human arm in Movie 3: Sword of World Conquest, which in the English movie is called, Swords of an honorable Rules or some BS like that.

Well, Inuyasha couldn't pull it out of this alter. Reminds me of sword and the stone.... And Kagome ended up taking it out. And everyone was surprised, but I really wasn't. So Inuyasha takes it and can't transform and use the swrod only after he declares outloud to Kagome that he was going to protect her. Thats when the swrod transforms and hacks off Seshoumaru's arm (pouts)! Sesshoumaru retreats and now Inuyasha has a new toy to play with.

Throughout the beginning of the series, Sesshoumaru tries to take Tetseiga away from Inuyasha because he thinks he is unworthy of using the sword. So do I, but that's not important. I secretly have a different opinion of Sesshoumaru coming to always fight Inuyasha. I always thought he went to fight him to train him, or fight him to see how much he's improved with the sword. It was made known a long time ago, in the bginning of the series that he couldn't even hold the thing. But he did aquire a human arm with a Shikon shard in it to use Tetseiga. But Naraku, who gave the arm to him, had other plans with that arm, and Sesshoumaru should of known better, because the arm started to catch fire and threatened to devour him. Discarding the arm, Sesshoumaru goes and finds Naraku to kill him, but Naraku gets away.

Inuyasha' eventually finds how to use the sword to it's full potiential by finding the wind scar, the Backlash wave, transforming the sword into a "Red" Tetseiga and so on. It's clear the Inuyasha's sword has chosen a Master, and the same goes for Tenseiga.

Althought Sesshoumaru thinks the sword is useless, it's not. Opposite from Tetseiga, it can save 100 in one swing. Tenseiga was only used a couple of times to brink back the dead from that I know, Jaken being killed once, and Rin, maybe other times in the series, I don't know... But I think I read somewhere that Tenseiga could be used as a weapon. Maybe it was just fanfiction I read, or a dream... But the sword is used as a weapon in Movie 3 against Souunga. This is my favorite sword and I wish they had more stuff on it, but I really don't know what else about this sword is known.

Sesshoumaru's main weapon of choice, is Tokijin, which is a swrod forged from the fangs of a detatchment of Naraku, the demon who broke the Tetseiga. The sword was so evil, that it still held a grudge and possed all who held it. But Sesshoumaru quited the sword with his power and from then on out it was his, and like Inuyasha, throughout the series, he learns new attacks with it and Masters its full power.
