Biography of Sesshoumaru, The Enchanted One
I believe that Sesshoumaru is inbetween 300-500 years old. Why? Because if you've seen Movie 3, then you'd understand completly. We virtually know nothing about his mother since she's never mentioned throughout the series or in the movie. His father however, was finally shown in Movie 3 and he looks just like Sesshoumaru, and he looks hot in my opninon also. :)
As most of you know, he has a brother named Inuyasha (duh), who is only half demon- which Sesshoumaru doesn't like at all. I think the reason he dislikes mortals so much is because his father died for a human woman and Inuyasha (again, references to Movie 3, they show what happens to him.) Humans are weak and defenseless to him (which they are) and he really has no use for them at all. So Sesshoumaru's fether entrusts the Tenseiga to him while he gives Tetseiga to Inuyasha, someone who he hates (and later learns to co-exist with). Naturally he doesn't know this and goes looking or this Fathers grave where the swrod is, only to find Inuyasha, which he finally relizes the grave is located in his brothers left eye (weird, no?). So they fight a little bit, well, not really, Sesshoumaru pretty much pounds Inuyasha and opens the grave with the Staff of Heads.
 Unfortunately, he cannot wield the Tetseiga and interestingly enough, they say he can't touch it because he's full demon. Well, his father was full demon, and it was HIS sword originally. Which means - you can only use the sword if you have compassion for humans. Inuyasha ends up taking the sword and transforming it, and hacks off Sesshoumaru's arm (cry :'( ). Sesshoumaru gets away and trys other times to obtain the sword. Why he should just give up because he can't touch it anyways is anyone's opinion, but I strongly beleive that Sesshoumaru beleives Inuyasha is very unworthy of the sword, unworhty to be his brother.
Eventually Inuyasha finds the wind scar and by luck nearly kills Sesshoumaru. Tenseiga protects Sesshoumaru and transports him to a safe place where he meets Rin. She's a little human girl maybe 7 years old that feels compassion for Sesshoumaru and tries to "save" him by giving him water and food. Sesshoumaru at first tries to scare her off, but she isn't too frightened and continues . Rin gets beat up by the villagers because she was "stealing" fish out of the river. She goes back to Sesshoumaru bringing back wheat and again he tells her he doesn't need it and he human food doesn't suit him. Well, she runs up to him offering it again and he asks her what happened to her face because it was all swollen up from the villagers. I think she is in shock because she just looks at him and such and eventually the conversation goes with him saying, fine don't say anything. And then she smiles this big ass smile. He asks her why she is so happy because he just asked about her face but I guess she goes skipping off to her little shack. Apparently, we learn that Rin is mute and hasn't said anything since her parents and siblings were killed by bandits, so thats a big thing to keep in mind.
Well, Rin gets killed by wolves and by this time Sesshoumaru is well enough to stand. He smells her blood and decides to check it out, proably because he was curious about what happened. He finds her dead, killed by Kouga's wolves and then he pulls out Tenseiga and then "kills" the messengers from the dead with one swing and Jaken is like "ah,...ah!" going crazy. Well, Sesshoumaru picks up Rin and listens for a heartbeat and hears one and is in complete shock because he nearly gasps. Well, she gets up on her feet on her own and just looks at him in awe while Jaken is squaking his beak out. Sesshoumaru walks away and eventually Rin follows and then Jaken folows them.
 I'm not sure what happens in between, we can only guess what happens. Because all of a sudden she has a new Kimono with orange and white checkers and she's talking! Obviously with her talking is a big step like someone else said before, I think. I mean, the girl was mute! So from then on she just followed Sesshoumaru around with Jaken and Ah-Un. Sesshoumaru obviously cares for her a teeny weeny bit because everytime that she gets in trouble with someone trying to eat her or kill her, Sesshoumaru comes to her rescue. Why? I'm not sure on that either. Maybe because he feels that Rin is his "ward" and that he's responsible for her. But thats kinda out there too. I mean, he does dislike humans A LOT. Anyone's guess, I guess. :P
So there are other episodes I haven't seen yet, and I'm still watchin, so when I get an update of Sesshoumaru's "Life" in the series, I'll update the bio section.! ^_^ |
